Asus Unveils The World’s Largest Tablet

At Computex 2012 today, Asus have unveiled the world’s largest tablet which they’ve dubbed

“Transformer Book”. At 18.4-inch, I think most geeks and techies, like myself, would normally dismiss such a massive device as a pointless “look at me” stunt. However, the Asus Transformer Book AiO is more or less a one-piece laptop that converts to a tablet once the screen is removed.
One very cool thing about the Transformer Book is that it runs two operating systems, giving you the choice of booting into Windows 8 or Android. Engadget says Windows 8 is the “default” operating system, you can switch to the Android OS by simply pressing a button.
It will feature an Intel Core i7 Ivy Bridge CPU, 4GB of high speed DDR3 RAM, On-board USB 3.0, a 5 Mega-pixel camera, a front facing HD web cam. Asus say will be the thinnest Ivy Bridge i7 device available.
